My proposal story starts on August 18, 2014, our 4 year Anniversary. My fiancé's name is Louie. We decided no gifts this year and just decided to take the day off work and spend it together.
We went to the Canadian Exhibition and went on a couple of rides, played some games and ate some crazy food.
We then decided that it was too early to go and eat dinner so we decided to stop at Vaughan Mills and go shopping. Louie (my fiancé) wanted to go to the mall (which was strange) and did not want to leave. It was about 3:00 p.m. and I was STARVING. Every time I mentioned going to eat, he would stop for gas or drive around and make excuses.
Finally, at about 4:00 p.m., we went into Desserts Plus, my favorite restaurant in Woodbrigde. We sat down and I ordered my favorite pizza the "Rocco Junior" (Boccioni and prosciutto). A whole hour went by and I was ANGRY!!! I have NEVER waited there an hour for my pizza. Usually, they are quick and have my pizza done in about 15 minutes.
I was about to get up and go yell at the staff. Louie said he would go and see what was up.
He finally came back - holding a pizza that says "Will You Marry me?" written in Ham (picture attached). I was in SHOCK. He got down on one knee, told me how much he loved me and I SAID YESSS!!!
Louie is a very shy guy and I was stunned at the BEAUTIFUL ring and how much effort and originality he put into everything.
We are getting married on June 18, 2016 and I could not be any happier <3
