  • Sleep Apnea: Sleep apnea is the temporary cessation of breathing throughout the night.
  • Snoring: Snoring is loud, hoarse breathing that occurs during sleep. Snoring is oftentimes associated with sleep apnea.
  • Narcolepsy: Narcolepsy is excessive daytime sleepiness that results in “sleep attacks,” or an irresistible urge to sleep at inappropriate times.
  • Restless Leg Syndrome: Restless leg syndrome is an unpleasant sensation occurring in the legs at rest. It produces an urge to move them, often characterized as aching, fidgety, or itch.
