1. Introduction to Water Jetting–Provides a foundational understanding of water jetting, including its basic principles and applications. It sets the stage for more detailed discussions and helps participants grasp the overall context of the industry.


2. WJA Codes of Practice–Participants learn about the Water Jetting Association's codes of practice, which are crucial for maintaining safety standards in the industry. This section emphasises the importance of adhering to these codes to ensure safe and effective operations.


3. Water Jetting – Types of Pumps–Delves into the different types of pumps used in water jetting, highlighting their functionalities and specific applications. Understanding the variety of pumps available is key to selecting the right equipment for different tasks.


4. Water Jetting System Types & Safety Devices–Covers the various water jetting systems and the safety devices integral to each. It focuses on how these systems operate and the role of safety devices in preventing accidents.


5. Hoses and Ancillary Equipment–Participants are introduced to the hoses and ancillary equipment used in water jetting, learning about their specifications, maintenance, and safety aspects. This knowledge is vital for ensuring that all equipment is used correctly and safely.


6. Types of Water Jetting Nozzles–Focuses on the different types of nozzles used in water jetting, their design, and their specific uses. Understanding nozzle types is crucial for effective water jetting, as each type serves a unique purpose.


7. Team Roles and Responsibilities–Emphasises the importance of team dynamics in water jetting operations, outlining each team member's roles and responsibilities. It highlights how effective teamwork contributes to safer and more efficient operations.


8. Accidents, Hygiene Procedures, and What to Do in an Accident–Participants on common accidents, hygiene procedures, and emergency response protocols in water jetting. It prepares them to handle unexpected situations safely and effectively.


9. Health and Safety–Focusing on the broader aspects of health and safety, and covers general safety practices and legal requirements relevant to water jetting operations.

While we aim to make this training accessible for as many people as we can, there are some basic requirements:


Minimum Age


Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old and either employed or enrolled in an organised training program.


Age Criteria for Unemployed or Non-enrolled Individuals


Those who are unemployed or not part of a structured training course must be at least 18 years old.


Language Proficiency


A basic understanding of English is required for all participants.
