Cedar Creek High School
Jim Melody graduated from Union High School in 2007, and was a member of the varsity football and baseball teams. Jim attained All Union-County and All Watchung Conference honors in both sports as a Quarterback and Second Basemen in the respective sports. Jim also attained All-State Group 4 honors as a Quarterback in 2006. He then went on to continue his playing days as a Quarterback at Montclair State University, being a member of 2 NJAC Championship teams.
His passion for coaching began at Montclair State upon graduation in 2011 being an assistant coach under Head Coach Rick Giancola at MSU. Melody worked at Montclair State for 3 years as the wide receivers coach and the defensive backs coach.
Jim then returned to his Alma Mater, Union High School, to coordinate the offense under Head Coach Lou Grasso. Union’s offense compiled over 5,000 total offensive yards under Melody 4 times in his 6 seasons as the Offensive Coordinator, and captured the 2019 North 2 Group 5 State Championship, the first title Union won in 26 seasons. The NJ Offensive Player of the Year in 2019, was Union QB Andrew Sanborn. Jim prided himself in working with the youth of Union Township during his time there in several football and baseball clinics.
He then pursued the opportunity and his dream to become a Head Coach in 2019 following Tim Watson at Cedar Creek High School. After a 3-5 2020 season, Cedar Creek accomplished a perfect 13-0 season in 2021 culminating in the South Jersey Group 3 Regional Championship. Cedar Creek finished the season ranked #2 in the state of New Jersey. Several of Melody’s players following the 2021 season received all-state honors, including wide receiver Jojo Bermudez, who was awarded the NJ Offensive Player of the Year.
Jim is the son of John and Maureen Melody, and brother to Matthew. His father, John, graduated and played baseball at Seton Hall University, being drafted by the Kansas City Royals following his playing days. Matt is a graduate of NJIT, where he also played baseball and signed a professional baseball contract following his playing days, he is currently a police officer in Union Township.
Bill Osborn graduated from Wildwood High School in 1984, where he was the most decorated student athlete in school history, becoming an All Star in 3 Sports- football, basketball and baseball. The Wildwood High Board of Education retired his jersey number #12.
He was a varsity player all four years and earned All County, All Conference, All South Jersey in 3 sports and All State in both football and baseball. 8 times he was selected 1st team All Cape Atlantic League All Star by the CAL Coaches.
As a Student-Athlete, he was on the honor role 4 years, 2 year National Honor Society Member and played 4 years in the HS Band.
The Press of Atlantic City named him to the Football and Baseball 1980’s All Decade 1st team and they selected Bill as the High School Male Athlete of the Decade (1980’s). He was inducted into the South Jersey Basketball Hall of Fame in 1989. The Cape Atlantic Junior Football League recently inducted him into their Hall of Fame.
Bill earned a scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh where he was a rare college student athlete to earn varsity letters in football, basketball and baseball at a Division I University. He went to Pitt as a QB, changed positions to a DB after an arm injury forced him to Red Shirt his 1st season. After 1 year as a DB, starting 4 games, he became a 3 year starter at WR. He broke his color bone in the next to last game his Senior season, forcing him to miss post season All Star games and his Sr College Baseball Season. When he graduated, Bill had finished in the Top 10 All Time at the University of Pittsburgh in total receiving yards and receptions.
Following graduation from Pittsburgh, Bill spent a season with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Barcelona Dragons of the World Football and the Arena Football league’s Pittsburgh Gladiators. Although injuries curtailed his professional aspirations as a player, he began scouting in the NFL for the KC Chiefs before transitioning into a broadcast career where he became the color analyst for his Alma Mater for 13 seasons. He also became the color analyst and sideline reporter for the Philadelphia Soul and the Arena Football League for 10 plus seasons, including the Soul’s 1st Arena Bowl Championship. He’s has done radio and TV for ESPN, Comcast, CN8, Fox, 610 WIP among others, for over 25 years. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Maxwell Football Club.
Bill has worked for 20 plus years in sales as an executive in the Health Care Field for 2 Fortune 500 Companies, before helping start the company VICIS, which developed a revolutionary new football helmet the ZERO1. Bill is also the President of the Bill "Ozzie" Osborn Foundation, which he started with his sister Donna in the name of their Father, Bill Osborn, which raises awareness of Colon Cancer and the benefits of early screening and detection.
Bill resides in Marlton, with his wife Jami and two sons, Billy III and Trent.
Ron Jaworski is known throughout the Delaware Valley and South Jersey as the former quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles and the voice of ESPN Monday Night Football. He is endeared by all Eagle fans for leading the team to the 1980 super bowl. Ron started 116 consecutive NFL games, a record he held through 1999.
He founded and was part owner of the Arena Football League’s Philadelphia Soul and helped create the Atlantic City and Albany, New York franchises. Unfortunately, the pandemic forced the league to close. Ron is past president of the Maxwell Football Club and was the driving force in bringing the banquet to Atlantic City.
An outstanding businessman, he owns 7 signature golf courses in South Jersey. Well beyond all of Ron’s excellence on the football field and in business is his work in the community. Although involved in many philanthropic endeavors the one closest to his heart is the “Jaws Youth Playbook” which focuses on a mission to improve the overall health and wellness of at risk youth. Many South Jersey athletes and schools have benefited by this program. Over 1,000 bicycles have been given to disadvantaged youth during the holidays for the past several years. Refreshment stands, fields, equipment, and jersey’s are but some of the areas the JYP has assisted.
Ron has been honored by a number of groups including the South Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the United Way. He is currently an NFL analyst and Virtual Motivational Speaker. Ron and his wife Liz have three children, Joleen, Jessica, BJ, and six grandchildren.
Scott Campbell is the School Business Administrator/Board Secretary for the Greenwich Township BOE since July 1999 and prior to that worked for ITT Financial/Deutsche Bank. Scott has been a football official with the NJFOA South since 2007 serving on the Executive Board as a Position Representative, Vice President, and President.
During his time in the NJFOA South, he has officiated in three state finals at Rutgers University and Met Life Stadium. Before becoming a member of the NJFOA South, Scott also officiated with the South Jersey Officials Association, which he remains a member since 2005.
Named President in December 2019, Scott played a key role in the unification of the NJFOA South with the NJFOA Atlantic Chapter in 2021 to become the second largest chapter in New Jersey. Also, during his tenure as President, Scott along with his executive board members led the chapter in response to social activism, COVID, and contractual negotiations with the West Jersey Football League.
Scott is a 1985 graduate of Paulsboro High School where he played on two Group 1 championship teams under legendary coach Tom Brown. Scott also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Widener University in 1990.
Scott grew up in Gibbstown, NJ but for the last sixteen years has resided in Mickleton, NJ with his wife of twenty-eight years, Andrea. They have three children, Matthew (Maggie), Gabrielle, and Nicole and is the proud grandfather to Kennedy Kathleen.
Rutgers University
Melton recorded 55 receptions for 618 yards on the season, totaling a team-best 823 all-purpose yards (618 receiving, 116 kickoff return, 51 rushing, 38 punt return). The wide receiver had six games with at least five catches and posted two games of at least 100 receiving yards with a high of 125 versus Delaware. The New Jersey native finishes his career ranked sixth in the school record book with 164 career receptions and 10th with 2,011 yards. A member of the Biletnikoff Award watch list, the two-time captain played in 56 career games for the Scarlet Knights, accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl and earned MVP – Offense at the Rutgers football banquet.
Rutgers University
Starting all 12 games, Pacheco led the Scarlet Knights with 647 rushing yards on 167 carries with five touchdowns in 2021. The Vineland, New Jersey, native posted a season-best 107 yards on the ground at Michigan, recording multiple-score games versus Indiana and Delaware. Earning a spot on the Academic All-Big Ten list this past year, he finishes his RU career with 2,442 career rushing yards to rank seventh in program history, with his 563 carries sixth. In addition, he is ranked 11th in the school record book with 3,039 career all-purpose yards. Pacheco was voted a 2021 team captain and selected honorable mention All-Big Ten by coaches and media.
