Cynthia Venkler
Founder
Cynthia Venkler graduated from Penn State University in 1988 with her Bachelor of Science in accounting. She worked with big 8 CPA firms, initially specializing in banks, construction, car dealership audits, and nonprofits. Cynthia got her CPA license in North Carolina in 1991, working with a large and prestigious CPA firm in the audit department.
Three years later, in 1994, Cynthia founded Your Accountant My Accountant.
Cynthia loves taking on special projects with her clients. She works with business owners and executives, showing them the best way to restructure their employees by interviewing their key personnel and giving recommendations for placements within the company and job descriptions. She increased one company's sales from $26 million to $36 million by making these simple changes!
In her spare time, Cynthia loves riding horses, playing with her cats, and spending time with family.
Mark Jackson
Chief Operating Officer
Mark Jackson joined Your Accountant My Accountant as the company's COO in August 2022. He received his college education at Faulkner University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
"I enjoy overseeing all of the activities and ensuring that the existing business infrastructure has the capacity to achieve the company's strategic goals. I love working with our employees to ensure that our customers receive excellent service and feel like family."
Mark and his wife, Regina, married over 17 years ago and are still honeymooning. When they aren't exploring the Alabama Gulf Coast Region, where they live, Mark enjoys being with friends and family, teaching Bible studies, watching action movies, and traveling.
Andrew Samuels
Business Development
Andrew earned his associate's degree in arts and Bachelor of Science in MIddle Grades Education-Mathematics and Science Concentrations from Appalachian State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. He joined the YAMA team in 2018 in Business and Staff Development and Training.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
"I enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues. In addition, working remotely is special to me so that I can spend quality time near my mother and daughter. Another aspect of my work that I enjoy is attention to detail.
Andrew has two grown children, Sharon and Nathanael. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with people of all ages, being outdoors, bicycling, and attending exercise classes.
Jill Valdesalice
Tax Supervisor
Jill Valdesalice earned her B.S. in Finance from Florida State University and has worked in the tax industry since 2014.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
"Helping clients by figuring out how to get the best outcome while staying within the law. Seeing the clients' lives and businesses grow and change."
When she isn't relaxing with a good book, Jill enjoys live music, dancing, movies, live theater, and spending time with friends and family.
Row Puchetti
Accounting Department
Row Puchetti's educational background and medical experience prepared her with the skills to transition seamlessly into the accounting industry, she joined the YAMA Team in 2021. She received her Master of Science in Cytology and Biosciences at the Medical University of South Carolina.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
"Treating each client with the same care I would a patient in a behind-the-scenes manner. I like that I am able to make a difference in this way and appreciate the new things I am learning."
Row and her husband, Nick, a Navy diver and diver instructor, have two young daughters. When they aren't at the beach, Row and the girls love dancing together at their local dance studio.
Kimberly McDaniel
Accountant/Tax Preparer
Kimberly McDaniel joined the YAMA team in 2022 as an accountant/tax preparer. Before that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance degree from Florida State University.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
"I love numbers and organizing data. Give me a computer and numbers, and I'm a happy gal. Helping our clients file taxes and seeing their satisfaction in getting this task out of the way is priceless. I get to do this in an office where I'm valued and considered part of the work family. I am very blessed."
Kimberly's immediate family includes her beautiful daughter, three cats, and two little dogs, all of whom she loves deeply. Kimberly and her daughter love going on day trips and exploring in their free time. In addition, Kimberly enjoys nature, reading, music, baking, creating, and spending time with her extended family.
