Registered Bókun users (“you”) may earn credit for use within the Bókun platform by referring new customers to Bókun through our referral program (“Referral Program”). If you are a registered Bókun user and choose to participate in the Referral Program, you must agree to these Referral Program Terms (“Terms”), which become a part of the Bókun Services Agreement (the “Agreement”). Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Agreement.

1. How to Participate in the Referral Program

You will be assigned a personal referral link for referring customers by visiting the Referral section of the Bókun site (your “Referral Link”). To participate, you may refer friends who have not previously signed up to Bókun by sending them your Referral Link. Each new customer you refer who clicks on your Referral Link will receive a Bókun PRO Offer (defined below).

1. Referral Credits

2.1 You will receive the amount specified on our referral page at the time of the referral credited to your Bókun account (“Referral Credit”) after a referred customer has completed their first Action (defined below). Each Referral Credit expires after 24 months of it being awarded, and the maximum total of credits you may receive under the Referral Program in any calendar year is 100 (the “Credit Limit”). Once the Credit Limit has been reached, you will no longer receive any Referral Credit for referrals in that calendar year.

2.2 Once you qualify for a Referral Credit, it will appear in the billing section of your Bókun account. Referral Credits will be used automatically to pay (in whole or in part) your next invoice.

1. Qualifying for the Referral Program

3.1 To qualify for the Referral Program and to earn Referral Credits, the referred customer must: (a) be a new Bókun customer, (b) use your Referral Link to sign up to a Bókun PRO subscription, and (c) pay their first Bókun PRO invoice (collectively, an “Action”). 

3.2 If the referred customer is eligible and uses your Referral Link to sign up to a Bókun PRO subscription, the referred customer will receive their first three (3) months’ subscription with a 50% discount (the “Bókun PRO Offer”).

1. Sharing Referral Links

4.1 You may only make referrals for personal and non-commercial purposes, and you may only share your Referral Link with personal connections that you reasonably believe will appreciate receiving these invitations. Referring customers may not solicit referrals by:

1. Self-referring by using multiple or false names, identities, accounts or e-mail addresses;
2. Referring anyone who is an existing Bókun customer, including an existing customer with an account under a different e-mail address;
3. Using spam or sending unsolicited e-mails to people they don’t personally know to collect referrals, or otherwise violating any applicable law, rule, regulation, or third party’s policies or terms of use;
4. Posting on message boards, internet advertisements, public forums or coupon sites;
5. Permitting another individual to use the referring customer’s account;
6. Referring fake people to Bókun, impersonating another person, or otherwise providing Bókun with false or misleading information;
7. Using the Referral Link in any manner that is disparaging or that otherwise may portray Bókun in a negative light; or
8. Engaging in any other restriction we may impose on participants in the Referral Program in our discretion.

4.2 If Bókun determines in its sole discretion that there has been a violation of these Terms, Bókun reserves the right to cancel or rescind a referring customer’s Referral Credit, cancel the referred customer’s discounted Bókun PRO subscription, and/or determine that one or both parties is ineligible to participate in this or future offers. Referring customers may also be liable for civil and/or criminal penalties under applicable law. Bókun reserves the right to void, verify or adjust Referral Credits at any time prior to or following award and redemption.

1. Your Responsibilities

By acquiring Referral Credits, you agree and acknowledge that we are granting you a limited, revocable license to a digital item, and that the Referral Credit is not your personal property. Except as explicitly provided herein, your Referral Link and Referral Credits are non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping track of the Referral Credits in your account and notifying us of any discrepancy. You may be required to pay taxes, and we may be required to withhold taxes, on the value of redeemed Referral Credits if the value exceeds certain thresholds. Referral Credit cannot be applied to previous purchases and is not redeemable for cash.

1. General

6.1 The Referral Program is subject to restriction, modification, suspension or termination at any time upon notice to you in Bókun’s sole discretion. Bókun may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or your ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time for any reason. If any provision in these Terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions. All Referral Credits are voided immediately upon termination of the Referral Program. 

6.2 A referred friend may only use one Referral Link. If a referred friend receives Referral Links from multiple Bókun users, only the corresponding Bókun user who distributed the Referral Link used by the referred friend will receive a Referral Credit. 

6.3 We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Referral Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive or fraudulent. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts and/or modify referrals as we deem reasonable. 

6.4 We may update these Terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these Terms, we will post the modification on the Bókun website, and the revised Terms will be effective upon posting.
