** THE IRS THINKS YOUR SMALL BUSINESS IS CHEATING **

Now for Some Good News!

The good news is you can know how the IRS intends to attack you. You can have the top tax problem solver on your side. I started out protecting my mother's house and now for over over forty years I've helped protect thousands of people with many owning their own small business.

I know that countless thousands of businesses will be targeted for audits in the areas of:

      -The home office deduction,

      - The business use of your automobile,

       - Travel, meals and entertainment expenses,

      - The reclassification of independent contractors to employees,

     - The payment of “reasonable compensation” to corporate officers,

     - Ordinary and necessary business expenses, and

   - Whether your activity is a legitimate business or merely a “hobby,” not carried on for profit.

And as if all that is not enough, the IRS will drill into your business’s compliance with the litany of employment tax regulations.

Do you know the five things you are supposed to do when you first hire a new employee?

Don't worry, most employers don’t.  Unfortunately that’s just one way they get sideways with the IRS. Even worse, your CPA or bookkeeper probably only told you about two of them and most small businesses find out about the others the hard way - suddenly finding the IRS assessing a mountain of penalties against thier small businesses for not complying with cryptic rules they never even knew existed.

YOU, as a Newsmax Reader, can protect your business from imminent attack by the IRS.

Here’s another fact about how the IRS will gut tens of thousands of small business owners in the coming years. Two-thirds of all problems businesses have with the IRS involve substantiating business expenses. You see, the IRS falsely—yet routinely—claims business owners don’t have the records they need to prove there was a legitimate “business purpose” for the expenses. The result: expenses are arbitrarily disallowed and business owners end up paying thousands in additional taxes, penalties and interest— that they simply do not owe.

Here's EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS—The IRS is Almost ALWAYS Wrong!

The IRS’s own internal documents reveal that the decisions of tax auditors are simply dead wrong 60-90% of the time. And, in testimony to the United States Congress, I proved that the IRS operates on bluff and intimidation, misinformation and disinformation, and in many cases just out-right lies to people about their rights. In the end, business owners lose their deductions, not because they’re cheaters , but because they don’t know how to prove their deductions were legitimate in the first place.

Here’s How I Get Insider Details on What the IRS is Up To

Unlike most attorneys, accountants and other tax pros, I get insider information directly from the horse’s mouth. I do it by digging into government data on the inner workings of the IRS, including their own reports, manuals and internal memo’s—just like the one I mentioned at the beginning of the email you received.

On top of that, every week, I read reports from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA). These federal watchdog agencies investigate and report on a wide range of IRS activities. They tell us exactly what the IRS is up to and how they intend to do it.

And finally, every year, the National Taxpayer Advocate issues two reports to Congress. One identifies the 20 most common problems people face in complying with the tax laws. The other identifies the year’s “most litigated tax cases” in federal court. In all, these reports provide 1,000-plus pages of rich analysis and insight on exactly what the IRS is up to.

Not even Congress reads all 1,000 pages. But I do.  (I may be crazy, but I like to curl up in front of the fireplace and read this stuff, really!)

Between more than four decades of litigation with the IRS in countless business audits, and the thousands of pages of insider documents I pour through month after month,

I know EXACTLY how the IRS will attack ANY business in ANY audit situation

And Now You Can Too!

I've put together a special package for Newsmax readers That includes two of my books that every small business and their accountant or CPA should have on their shelf:

“But I’m NOT a Tax Cheater!”

People have told me a thousand times, “I don’t have to worry about the IRS, Dan. I’m honest. I don’t cheat.  That’s good. You should be honest. You file your tax return signed under penalties of perjury so it must be correct.

The problem is the IRS doesn’t have to prove you’re dishonest in order to disallow your deductions, or even to assess confiscatory penalties against you. In the context of an audit, the IRS NEVER has to prove you made a mistake You have to prove you did it right. You’re guilty until YOU prove yourself innocent!

The single biggest problem with business audits is not that the owner is a tax cheater. The single biggest problem is the owner didn’t know how to prove he didn’t cheat.

“But I have a CPA.”

You might say, “Well Dan. I have a pretty good CPA.”

That’s good too. It’s very important to have competent accounting advice. Keep in mind, however, that accounting advice is just that—accounting advice. The fact is accounting and tax litigation are two completely different worlds. The vast majority of CPAs have little experience dealing with contested audits, or the IRS’s Office of Appeals—and certainly no experience dealing with the IRS in the U.S. Tax Court.

Dealing with Your Accountant
or CPA

As long as we’re talking about accountants, I have an entire chapter in the  Small Business Tax Guide  that shows you how to get the most out of your accountant. I give you 21 ways to interact with your accountant so you’re never blindsided. I also show you 10 signs that an accountant or tax preparer might be a fraud. And if you ever need a professional opinion from a tax pro on how to handle a situation, I give you six things you absolutely must know to avoid potential IRS penalties.

For all the tips and secrets to dealing with your accountant AND avoiding scams

NEVER FORGET—You’re the One on the Hook

CPA or no CPA, you’re the one  on the hook  for what’s in your tax return. Even if your CPA made a mistake, you are responsible for the taxes. And, while you might be able to get the penalties cancelled (if you read chapter 17 of the  Small Business Tax Guide) , the IRS will look to you alone for full payment of the tax,  plus the interest!

Keep Your Company Out of Trouble

It’s not enough to be the creative genius behind your company. You also have to keep your company out of trouble with the IRS. Don’t get clobbered for violating tax rules you never knew existed. If you currently operate or intend to operate your own small business, you need to be protected and ready for the IRS when, and they will, come a-knocking.

Millions of small businesses will be blind-sided by the IRS with unwelcomed and highly intrusive audits that will end up costing them tens of thousands of dollars—or more. But with the Small Business Tax Guide and How to Win Your Tax Audit , you’ll be one of the few people in America whose life won’t be ruined by the IRS, because you will have taken the steps needed to protect yourself, your business, and your family.

You can order each book separately but check out your special package and order today. I’m eager to rush this critical information to your door right now.
