Biography
Gary Go, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.
Dr. Go’s first exposure to Orthopaedics was during his time as an OR Nurse. He was drawn to orthopaedic surgery and returned to medical school to become a surgeon. As an orthopaedic surgeon, he enjoys being able to help people and getting them back to where they can pursue the things they love doing. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and biking.
Dr. Go received his Associate Degree in Nursing and was elected to The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Hendrix College, graduating cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, College of Medicine, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in his third year of medical school. He completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
He in on the Geriatric Fracture committee at Saint Luke’s East and is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSMA-Missouri State Medical Association, MSOS – Missouri State Orthopaedic Society and Alamo Orthopaedic Society. He previously served as Chief of Surgery at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
