Biography
Gerald Dugan, M.D.
is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.
After experiencing musculoskeletal injuries of his own, Dr. Dugan decided to become an orthopaedic surgeon, so that he may assist patients in recovering from conditions or injuries that affect their quality of life. Dr. Dugan is passionate about helping arthritic patients resume a more active life style. In his free time, Dr. Dugan enjoys being outdoors.
Dr. Dugan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK. After obtaining his medical degree from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City, he completed residency training in Orthopaedics at the University of Oklahoma Teaching Hospitals.
Each fall, Dr. Dugan actively supports the local community by providing team physician coverage at area high school football games.
Dr. Dugan has authored numerous scientific research articles and has presented his research at both regional and national academic conferences.
He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSOA – Missouri State Orthopaedic Association, Missouri State Medical Association and Southern Orthopaedic Association.
