Biography
Larry Frevert, M.D.  is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.

Dr. Frevert grew up in Raytown, Missouri, where he was interested in medicine and enjoyed participating in sports. He underwent surgery at a young age and it was that experience that made him realize he wanted to stand by the table instead of being on the table. Because sports played such a big part of his life, he became especially interested in sports medicine. Dr. Frevert enjoys helping people get back to what they enjoy doing. In his spare time, he enjoys sports, outdoor activities, working with his hands, and watching his kids’ and grandkids’ activities.

Dr. Frevert received his Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Texas Christian University. After obtaining his medical degree from University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine, he completed residency training in Orthopaedics at the University of Arkansas-Medical Sciences.

Dr. Frevert actively supports the local community by providing team physician coverage for athletes at area schools during the school year.

Dr. Larry Frevert has authored numerous scientific research articles and has presented his research at both regional and national academic conferences.

He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSOA-Missouri State Orthopaedic Association and the Missouri State Medical Association.

Dr. Frevert was selected for Suraj Ahuja Teacher of the Year Award in 2003, was chosen for the All American Academic Team and received an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship Award.
