Biography
Robert Takacs, M.D. is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon.

Dr. Takacs chose to become an orthopaedic surgeon because he knew he would enjoy helping patients regain their function and lessen their discomfort. He is passionate about what he does because as a Baby Boomer, he realizes the increasing demand for care and treatments of this age group. Dr. Takacs loves being surrounded by the positive atmosphere at Rockhill Orthopaedics, as well as that same positive atmosphere among the staff and nurses at the hospital and the Surgery Center. In his spare time, he likes to bike, hike, ski and fly fish but he is appreciating more and more the practice of yoga!

Dr. Takacs received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University. After obtaining his medical degree from Case Western Reserve Medical School, he completed residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at Case Western Reserve Medical School.

He is an active member of AAOS-American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, MSOA-Missouri State Orthopaedic Association and the Case Orthopaedic Alumni Society (Herndon Society).
