Astrology is more than just planets, stars, asteroids and signs chilling out in the cosmos - Its the blueprint to your life.

Astrology is the collective observations of celestial activity from over tens of thousands of years of which has been brought together and analysed…It wasn’t until about a decade or so ago that even India began to reveal their well kept Secret knowledge and wisdom of vedic astrology. You May hear Vedic Astrology be equally as known as “Hindu Astrology” being as It is also practiced and is seen as a way of life. I mean people dating back further than the Shamans and Egyptians have watched, studied and recorded The moon cycle and its effects has been documented as far back as 25,000 years ago.

So there must be something in it - how accurate it is for you?

The Blue Print!

Each Person, Animal, Place and Business is presented with a map otherwise known as a ‘’Birth-chart’’ that is unique to them because it’s rare to find someone born on the same day, in the same place at the exact same time (even twins are born hours or minutes apart)- A blueprint.

Now you might be thinking what about free will? This all seems like fate and destiny, is it really possible that the cosmos can really influence and affect us in such big ways.

Let’s Just think of it like this - Everything has its own feeling or Energetic footprint. Everything is Energy...

Imagine spending the day with your best friend now compare it to spending a day with that distant family relation that you have nothing to talk about. They give off a different vibe or arise in you different feelings - Ie. energy - hence the effect it has over you.

Your personal map of life has many twists, turns, routes and roads for you to go down - you have many options (free will). It’s through experiences that we grow and work out what fits for us. Ultimately life is the pursuit of happiness and life is about learning and growth. Astrology is a map of potentials that highlight and distinguishes your preferences. It’s through studying your chart and the transiting planets that you can foresee things that are about to take place.

Think of it like gardening - You are a perfect seed (Person) the picture on the front of the packet is the potential of what you could become - Other factors depend upon the actual outcome of what you will grow to be. For example, What you’re fed and the Environment you're grown in, and The Choices that you make shape you.

Briefly - What is birth chart?

I’m certain at some point you have heard the saying “Your Body's a Temple”.

Well Think of your birth chart as the architecture of that Temple… I like to View it as a Blueprint.

So What is the first thing you notice about any structure… You Notice the Appearance or the Doorway to it - This is known as your Ascendant or Rising Sign (They mean the same thing).

The Rising Sign is what is known as the First House - But sticking with the Temple/House Analogy let's call it the Doorway.

The entrance to the house is the doorway to your soul. This is how other people see you on the surface it’s the house/doorway of self, Your image and all doorways are different.

The Ascendant/first house shows how you present yourself in the world, how you come across initially to others… Ultimately it adds to your personality - going back to the analogy, some doorways are friendly, while others appear closed off/obstructed, inviting and while others appear messy.

People do not always show their real self to the outside world and that is why the Rising sign tends to be more relevant when understanding a person's personality - Again you are not just your Sun Sign.

Now Every birth chart is made up of 12 house in astrology. But think of the 12 houses as rooms each one adding another aspect to you or another area of your life.

Let’s just say you need to take a shower, which room do you go to to shower? You wouldn’t go to the bedroom you would make your way to the bathroom. So when looking at your birth chart we can look at the Rooms/house as ways to identify what that area of your life is like and what is going on in it.

So you see each room/house has relevance but the complexity of those ‘’rooms/houses’ depends on other factors such as, what sign is ruling over/filling up which ‘’room/house’’ and what Visitors/Planets (if any although all the planets will be situated somewhere in your chart) is sitting in which ‘’room/house’’. A room/house with Planets in are always emphasised and regarded as important to the Astrologer.

All birth charts are different thats because you as a person are unique. That is why i say you are not just your Sun Sign. Even if outward appearances appear to look the same, by that i mean we all have eyes, nose, mouth, ears etc and certain Signs have running themes yet we are more than just that.

We are all Spiritual beings having this human experience and so the ‘’rooms/houses’’ in a birth-chart will all symbolise the same things - as above we all have a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room etc but they will not all have the same experiences taking place. As humans we all experience emotions, love, pain, work, dreams, school, belief or nonbelief, partnership, children ect but we all will experience these things in different ways. Astrology helps to understand what this means for you.

The First room/house as we discovered is the representation of you, opposite is 7th house/room which represents other people/our partners.

The 10th Room/house is what you strive to become and opposite the 10th is the 4th room/house, which relates to home and family the private side.

The 3rd house/room is communication and self expression, opposite the 3rd is the 9th house, the higher mind, beliefs, spirituality what we attain to be.

The 5th house is fun, children and creativity and opposite the 5th is the 11th house/room friendships, what we share with the collective.

The 2nd house is wealth, value what we have or need and opposite is 8th house/room other people’s wealth or money earn through business, hidden things and surprises in life.

Lastly we have the 6th house the house of service, health, work and opposite is the 12th house the subconscious mind and house of spirituality.

So now you understand that the 12 rooms/houses in your temple/house/Birth-Chart (the 12 houses in your birthchart) relate to different areas of your life.

Now The planets in Astrology symbolizes many things and rule over or represent an area of our life. So to better understand this think of the Planets as the hierarchy in a time where there were kings and queens.

So you are the King (queen) of your life and so you represent the Sun and the Planets revolve around you.

Venus would be your Queen (lover) so would govern over your creativity, passions, desires and wealth.

Mercury would be the master of coins of which covers your intellect, making rational decisions, communicating between all, planner and organiser.

Moon would be the symbolism of the royal Family (people who are closest to you/Live with) and home life. This looks are your emotional and feeling self, inner needs and Intuition.

Mars would be the Captain of the knights guard This will govern over your will power, strength, sex drive, fight and war - your lust and drive in life in a females chart can relate to the boyfriend.

Jupiter would be the teacher this will look at your luck in life or your skill set and level of success... What will Expand and bring you joy. In a female's Chart it can be an indicator of the Husband/Children.

Ceres is the Baker. This refers to your nurturing capabilities, where you show it and your style of caring for others.

Saturn is the representation of the written law looking at your restrictions and lessons for this life time.

Uranus rules over the kingdoms people, the things you cannot control in life - aka other people! The things that surprise you and the things you must learn to keep up with.

Neptune would be the Priest or Holy person - This will be where you are most intuitive, the place of untapped potential and the place you get lost in. Your belief.

Pluto would be the healer/Doctor. This will govern over your health, your losses the place you will be transformed by the most. Your Strength as well as your weakness.

North Node would be the Seer. It governs over what you must do in this lifetime, it's your destiny.

South Node will be the Slave. It looks at your past and the things that hold you down or back in this life but it also shows you your skills and things you have brought with you in life.

Lilith is the whore. It governs over your sexuality it is kind of your inner bitch its your place that you feel equal to the opposite sex. In a Man's chart is is the type of woman that arouses you.

Chiron is the Apothecary Apprentice. It is what you must learn, heal and then share with others.

Juno is the Suiter. This refers to the person we will end up with in life, not always who we believe we should be with.

So depending on the time and place of your birth these planets will be in different rooms/houses of your Temple/birth-chart. Depending upon the Sign that paints each room (influences) will add a little more detail to the personality of the above.

By Sign i am referring to the Signs of the Zodiac, Aries ♈, Taurus ♉, Gemini♊, Cancer♋, Leo♌, Virgo♍, Libra♎, Scorpio♏, Sagittarius♐, Capricorn♑, Aquarius♒ and pisces♓. So try to look at these as personality types instead of signs.

The Last thing i will add is that wherever the Sun is in your birth chart - Or ‘’whatever room you are born in your Temple’’ (to continue with the analogy) will show you where you shine the brightest in life (the sun illuminates everything) it will also point to your focus in life.

So this pretty much simplifies a Birth Chart in Astrology, you will come to realise that with every layer you can dig deeper and uncover a little bit more about yourself. But the Birth chart is your Soul's Map it's the transiting planets that can bring forth events.
