If you've been around for a while, you've likely seen Courtney and Chase featured on the blog a few times. I pride myself in forming meaningful relationships with each of my clients, but these two are a little extra special. From the moment we met, Courtney and I hit it off and I just knew we'd grow to become great friends (and likewise with my hubby and Chase)! Our friendship has developed into something so beautiful and I find myself grateful to have both of these lovely souls in my life every day.
When I got home from Courtney and Chase's wedding, my face hurt from smiling all day. Their day was such a dream. Though it was a rainy day, it didn't bother Courtney in the least and she embraced every moment. A seriously talented DIY-er and crafter, she put so much thought and detail into every piece of her big day. From the hand-assembled bouquets and boutonnieres to the succulent wedding favors, the stunning arbor, and SO many other special details, both seen and unseen. The place was decorated with beautiful greenery and white/pink florals and succulents, and it was buzzing with the sound of chatter and laughter. It was very romantic, and simple, all at the same time. All day long, I couldn’t help but smile because I could feel it in my bones just how perfect Courtney and Chase are for each other.
Throughout their gorgeous wedding day, I saw Courtney's gentleness and easy going nature in how laid back she was all day. Her creativity in the décor, and their love for Shinedown as it played in the background while they got ready for the day and they way they added extra flair for their first dance by using the smoke machine to the song Misfits by Shinedown. I saw Chase's humor shine through as he and the guys laughed and joked around as they got ready, and I saw the way they loved each other with gentleness and joy.
Courtney and Chase, I am so incredibly happy for the two of you, and I am so grateful that you trusted me to document this perfect day for you. Watching you two love each other brings everyone who knows you so much joy and hope. You make people believe in the goodness of others, and you make people believe in genuine love. You remind me so much of Justin and I when we said "I do" and I'm so excited to see your relationship grow and flourish. I’m wishing you a lifetime of adventures, concerts, and laughter. You deserve nothing but the best. <3
(And I'm so excited to share more memories and adventures with the two of you. We love you!)
