Everyone benefits when the quality and affordability of health care improves in our community. Measuring health care quality and costs are a critical first step to support improvement.
MNCM was formed as a community resource where all health care stakeholders – whether they buy, manage, provide, deliver, oversee, or receive health care – come together and mutually invest in improvement for a better tomorrow.
We strive to deliver data and information that is timely, actionable, and relevant for each stakeholder to fulfill their role in advancing improvement and affordability.
Membership
MNCM offers membership options for medical groups, health care payers, and health related advocacy organizations to help support our mission. Please consider joining as a member of MNCM.
Payers
MNCM welcomes engagement and participation of all health care payers offering services in our region to maintain and strengthen the community’s long-standing commitment to work together on common goals.
Collaborative efforts through MNCM have proven we can accomplish more together than any one organization can on their own. In addition to advancing health care quality and affordability, payers realize direct value from:
- Increased community-wide focus on measures
- Reduced overhead costs with centralized data collection and validation
- Access to robust data to use in value-based contracts and HEDIS reporting

Medical Groups
Supporting membership is a great way to show your support and commitment to improving the quality and affordability of health care in our community through collaboration with other stakeholders. It also supports MNCM’s efforts to make quality measurement easier so clinic staff can spend more time on improvement activities. Annual membership dues are designed to be affordable and are based on the size of the medical group based on the number of providers reported by the medical group through annual registration for data submission.

MNCM also offers group membership for affiliated medical groups with fewer than 20 providers each. Contact us for more information.
Annual Medical Group Benchmarking Report
Medical group members receive an annual benchmarking report that is supplementary to the standard files provided to data submitters. The Report summarizes performance information for your medical group and its clinics with comparisons to statewide and local averages and to other like entities. The report is provided as an interactive Excel data file. Tabs in the file provide information on quality measures
- compared to the peer organizations you selected,
- segmented by insurance type, and
- segmented by race and ethnicity.

Advocacy Organizations
MNCM values the engagement of community advocacy organizations with a shared interest in improving health care quality and affordability in our community – and we welcome the opportunity to collaborate and amplify efforts that advance our shared goals.
Supporting membership in MNCM is a great way to show your support for collaboration across stakeholders and transparency of data to drive improvement. Annual membership dues are designed to be affordable and maximize the opportunity for involvement.
MNCM defines advocacy organizations as community based non-profit organizations with a shared interest in advancing health care quality and affordability. Advocacy Organization dues are $3,000 annually.

- Development of community reports and resources designed to increase awareness of the status of health care quality and affordability in our community and shed light on areas where improvement is needed.
