VERBA CENTAR d.o.o., with the registered office in Zagreb, Croatia, protects your privacy and cares about the way your personal data are processed. We want you to understand how and why your personal data are collected when you order our services.

In order to provide our services, we collect the following personal data of our customers: name and surname, street address and e-mail address. Legal entities should also provide us with their company name and VAT ID for invoicing purposes.

If you order certified court interpreter services from us, we will need your personal identification number or ID card number or passport number because the court interpreter must enter such data in the Record of Translations and Certifications, which is delivered to the competent court in accordance with the applicable Ordinance on Court Interpreters.

In the contact form available on our Contact page, you are asked to enter your name, surname and e-mail so that we could send you a quotation or the information you requested. We need your telephone or mobile phone number to contact you if additional clarifications are required or in case of internet connection problems.

Your personal data are collected via the contact form on our website or through direct communication with our project managers.

We collect your personal data to be able to respond to your queries and provide the services you ordered in accordance with all laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Croatia.

The personal data required under the applicable laws and regulations are kept within the stipulated terms.

Other personal data you provided will be kept in our database until we receive your request for their deletion. This includes, without limitation, your telephone or mobile phone number.

All originals, translations and reference materials are archived and kept for two years or until the receipt of your request for their deletion. 

Your personal data are available to our employees and certain external associates and partners providing services for us so that we could conduct our business and deliver the services you ordered.

Your personal data may be transferred to our reliable partners outside the EU. The countries to which we transfer personal data may not have data protection laws that provide an adequate level of protection to your personal data. We therefore take steps (which may include entering into data transfer agreements based on the model clauses approved by the European Commission) to ensure that the persons to whom we transfer data in those countries commit to ensuring an adequate level of protection for your personal data.
