My name is Julia Hamon and I’m a professional model, actress, and director. I love bringing life to creative ideas and projects of all sorts. I enjoying being on the stage and behind the scenes, in front of a camera and holding it. 

2009-2015

For the past several years, I have worked on stages across North America and Europe, discovering the energy and life of cities and countries, and enjoying the interactions between actors and audiences.

Skills

In addition to acting, I have trained as a dancer, singer and professional mime. The stage is in my blood, and whenever I encounter a new field or area that interests me, I explore it to its roots.

We are young and vibrant filmmakers from Brisbane and we absolutely love what we do. It's just the two of us here and we take a lot of pride in the work that we put into our clients and the weddings we shoot - we only take on a limited number of bookings each year so that each wedding we capture gets our full undivided attention.

  • Why should I have a videographer at my wedding?

    Hiring a videographer to capture your wedding is an important investment. Couples spend months, even years planning this day and when the time comes, its over in the blink of an eye. We are there to make sure that when the day draws to an end, you have something special to look back at, to take you to those special moments and relive them over and over.

  • What is a Highlights Film?

    A highlights reel is kind of like a movie trailer. It is video generally under 10 minutes that showcases the day and captures the atmosphere. Edited to music, with cinematic style editing and colour grading - the highlights reel is a perfect timestone for you to relive the magic from your day. 

  • I want my guests to feel comfortable, so is wedding videography intrusive?

    It is important that we keep everyone feeling comfortable on the day. Our style of filming is realistic and natural. We want candid shots and its hard to achieve if we are making everybody nervous. So our approach is to be minimally intrusive. We let the photographer direct as we capture everything naturally as it unfolds throughout the day.   • I already have a photographer. Why do I need a videographer as well?

    A photographer captures light, but a videographer captures the story.     We aim to have the first version available for you within 30 days from your wedding. If no changes are required, the final version will be sent to you a couple days after approval.

    A static camera is a video camera set up on a tripod left to record uninterrupted during certain events of the day. This gives us, the videographers, freedom to get in amongst the action! 

  • Can you work alongside my photographer?

    Absolutely! We love meeting and working alongside photographers. We usually allow the photographer to be more directive with the poses and positions as we capture these moments naturally on camera.

  • Do you shoot in 4K?

    We shoot in HD, however we have the capability to film in 4K. Please have a chat to us if your interested in 4K footage.
