Meet Our Doctors
Michael Criscione, D.M.D.
Michael Criscione is a graduate of the Oregon Health and Sciences University School of Dentistry and attended Oregon State University. He is a Lakeridge High School graduate and has been practicing dentistry since 1989.
Dr. Criscione is licensed by the Oregon Board of Dentistry and is an active member of the American Dental Association and Oregon Dental Association. With over twenty-eight years of dental experience in private practice, Dr. Criscione has dedicated himself to his patients, community, and profession. With detailed and comprehensive patient care as his primary focus, Dr. Criscione enjoys providing many aspects of general dentistry to his community, ranging from restorative and prosthodontic procedures to oral surgery and selected endodontics. He has always made his priorities staying up-to-date in technology, news, and developmental techniques within the dental community to better serve his patients.
Residing in the area, Dr. Criscione actively supports the schools, sports, arts, and local businesses. He and his wife have volunteered their services for the Give Kids a Smile program. Dr. Mike and his wife spend as much time as possible with their two adult sons and their daughter-in-law.
Dr. Criscione enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and their three dogs Edgar, Remi, and the newest addition to the pack, Norman. They love hiking and exploring everything the great Northwest has to offer. He also really enjoys working outdoors and fixing cars!
Anna Ball, D.M.D.
As many of you know, Dr. Mike has anxiously awaited the arrival of his daughter-in-law, Dr. Anna Ball. Anna worked with us as a dental assistant for almost three years. Although her initial career goal was to be in medicine, she was surprised to find that she has a love for dentistry. Anna quickly pivoted, took the DAT, and was accepted into two programs. She completed her training at the OHSU School of Dentistry on June 6, 2025. Dr. Mike had the honor of participating in her hooding ceremony, which signified the completion of her doctoral degree. Dr. Ball was also the recipient of a humanitarian award recognizing her work in the Bridges Program in Portland and her commitment to caring for people. In addition, she graduated in the top 5% of her class. Dr. Mike and the entire team are excited and ready for her to join Criscione Family Dental. Dr. Ball has been spending some of her time in the office preparing for her license to arrive in mid-August.
Anna grew up in Portland. She attended OSU, where she met Dr. Mike's oldest son, Hayden. They married in 2021, right before dental school started. Hayden and Anna live in the area and enjoy all the fun and adventure that Oregon has to offer.
