Our Office

Dr. Travis Parkening Family Dentistry opened in 2018 when Dr. Parkening took over the office of Dr. Robert Summers.

Dr. Parkening and his team take pride in caring for patients and ensuring that they find a dental home here with us. We want our patients to enjoy visiting our practice, whether it’s returning for their regular checkup and cleaning or when a pesky rib bone or hard candy results in a broken tooth or lost filling.

Dr. Travis Parkening Family Dentistry is not a large, corporate office where you are just a number on a chart. We work within our patients’ means and ensure every aspect of treatment is explained before we begin.

We accept most in-network and out-of-network PPO insurance plans and keep our fees reasonable so that every patient has access to exceptional dental regardless of your financial situation.

Our office is in Bridgestone Plaza, located at 4925 Farm to Market 2920 in Spring, TX.

Dr. Travis Parkening

Dr. Travis Parkening is a general dentist, who strives to provide a trusting and comfortable environment for all patients. He prides himself in treating patients from a conservative approach, and tries his best to treat patients fairly and to stay away from the popular 'nickel and dime' tactics that so many dental patients have become familiar with.

Travis grew up in the Spring/The Woodlands area, and attended The University of Texas School of Dentistry-- right here in Houston. He has four dogs, and loves to spend time with them out on the water. Travis is also very experienced in the aquarium hobby, and used to be very involved in breeding, and whole sale of selected shrimp species. Travis spends a lot of time at the gym and although is a larger man, receives many compliments for his delicate touch, and care for patients. Do not let this be mistaken for when occasionally, additional time, and some discomfort, is required to maximize fitment of the prosthesis (crown/partial/denture) or finish of restoration. He takes great pride in providing quality care, while also providing a fun environment for his staff, as well as patients.
