WINTER FUN

Located just east of Rhinelander, this premier resort area offers some great adult or family winter fun. Grab your ice fishing gear and head out to one of our many area lakes (Lake George, Lake Thompson) or any of the 300+ lakes in the area.

Go downhill skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing at  Camp 10 and Snowboard located 1/2 hour away.

Grab your friends and family and head to the local hills for sledding or snow tubing. 

Enjoy our many area cross-country ski trails such as CAVOC trails where they also offer fat tire biking or try another nice trail system called Holiday Trails located at Old Farm Trails and Long Lake Trails.

About 40 minutes from the Rhinelander area is another great trail system called Winter Park.

Or enjoy gliding around with the whole family on an outdoor rink located at Pioneer Park at 705 Lynch Drive or Trig's River Walk Center at  232 S. Courtney St. 

Rent some snowshoes, it is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and is easy to learn and is  also a great workout.
