about the experience

From the time your book your session to the final delivery of your images, providing a seamless client experience is important to me and I take pride in the relationships I’ve built with my clients over the years. I approach every session differently based on the goals of the client and the ages of the kids, but the end result is always the same: images that celebrate your every day love and capture the real moments that fill your heart with so much joy.

Sessions are always relaxed and fun! You can expect me to interact with your kids, we’ll laugh, play games, I’ll possibly tell a few jokes, probably make obnoxious animal noises, and, if you’re lucky, I may even balance a shoe on my head — but most assuredly, I’ll make a complete fool of myself all in the name of genuine smiles & good fun. I want this to be a fun experience for the entire family and I have plenty of tricks to ensure that I get great images from every session. During our time together, your only job is to relax, love on each other, and let me do what I do best.

I’ve worked hard to create an experience that makes the session process as enjoyable and effortless as ever, and I am available to hold your hand as much or as little as you need me to along the way. Prior to the session, we’ll chat further in detail about ideas, session goals, location options, styling advice, etc. Then, about 10-20 days after your session, you will receive a link to a private online gallery for viewing and ordering.

MINI FAMILY SESSION

Mini sessions are best for clients who are looking for a quick session and have one main goal in mind - getting heirloom-quality portraits while still keeping your kids' attention. Limited availability. Scheduled on weekday evenings usually before or after another session.

FULL FAMILY SESSION

A full session that captures all the moments in a variety of both posed and candid images. For clients who wish to have all the digital files from their session (usually 50+) for keepsake & printing. Weekday evening & weekend booking available. Prime sunset light.

OPTIONAL VIDEO ADD-ON

An add-on available for Full Sessions. Photos are wonderful, but there's something truly special about seeing mannerisms and and facial expressions through video. Adding a video to your session allows me to capture video clips during your photography session and give extra-special meaning to our time together.
