Marketing Affiliate Program Policies
All WERET Affiliates are required to complete agreement and remain in compliance with these terms. This list contains everything you need to know about the Affiliate Program and about to be a WERET Ambassador, including resources, recommendations, and legal.

If you're not yet part of the WERET Affiliate Program, you can fulfill your Ambassador Account Registration through the link from your Ambassador Manager. Reach us at ambassadors@weret.com. 

WERET is working with selected affiliates who will: 

  • Appreciate the watch and its unique functionality of storytelling
  • Use it's connected data sources and live with the product
  • Adhere to and correspond with suitable branding, ethos and imagery 


HOW IT WORKS 

As an ambassador and member of our affiliate club, you can earn unlimited commission. When you refer a visitor to WERET through a unique Affiliate Link or your unique Affiliate Code, provided to you, you will earn a commission on the net purchase price for each referral resulting in a purchase. We handle the orders, payments and deliveries, all you need to do is send us visitors.

AMBASSADOR CLUB & COMMISSION

As a WERET Ambassador you’ll earn commission for each referral resulting in a purchase. When you have been approved as an affiliate, you receive commission stated in the Affiliate System. Percentage (%) commission are based on the customer’s net purchase value.




LIMITATIONS


a. You receive commission for the purchase made by a new customer who is not in an active sales process with us at the time of the affiliate link click. 

b. The customer must land on the referral links landing page in order to be properly tracked (we will not be able to track purchases made on other domains)

c. Attribution: In the event a single customer clicks two different affiliate links, the first affiliate gets the credit

d. Attribution: In the event a single customer uses an Affiliate Code, the Affiliate with the associated Affiliate Code gets the credit

e. Cookie Window: 20 days of clicking your affiliate link

f. The IP address may be blocked after a purchase.

g. You need to be registered through a Company with a valid VAT number. Individuals need to register with their TAX identification number and report the income as sponsor ship according to the rules that applies in your home country. 



There are a number of other limitations that may result in commission not being paid - we encourage you to read the Marketing Affiliate Program Agreement for more information on this.




PROMOTING WERET

1. WERET Branding

Do:

  • You are free to choose the means and techniques of contacting and communicating with your audience and prospective customers, including organizing marketing events and running web and email campaigns, displaying an Affiliate-specific promotional code provided by WERET.
  • Use the language and assets we’ve provided you in this Asset folder
  • Reference our style guide and basic guidelines around trademarks and copyright in the Trademark Usage Guidelines.
Do Not:

  • Use false or misleading statements on the benefits of using WERET (e.g. “Get rich quick with WERET” or connect the brand to child abuse, nudity, weapon, etc.)
  • Modify or adjust the WERET wordmark or sprocket logo in any sort of marketing material you might create, including the creation of any visual badges or dual-logo lockups.


2. What to call yourself

As we have multiple ways to partner with WERET and several ways to reference those relationships, here are some guidelines around what you can and cannot call yourself within the WERET Affiliate Program.

Say you’re a “WERET Official Ambassador” or  “WERET Ambassador” or “WERET Marketing Affiliate” or “Marketing Affiliate” or “Sponsored by WERET” 



3. Buying Ads

You will not purchase ads that direct to your site(s) or through an affiliate link that could be considered as competing with WERET own advertising, including, but not limited to, our branded keywords. bid or appear on brand searches, misspellings or derivatives of “WERET”; bid or appear on extended or hybrid brand searches of “WERET” (for example WERET voucher code, WERET discount code).

 

4. Register Urls 

You will not purchase or register any URLs with the WERET brand name or misspelled words as the web address; use “WERET” (including misspells and variations) as a sub-domain or sub-folder without a written permission by WERET (for example, www.weret.yoursite.com);         




LEGAL COMPLIANCE

FTC Compliance: All placements must be FTC compliant, which means you need to clearly disclose that you receive commission for any sales during every post with an affiliate link. Below are some suggestions of language that you can use:

We receive commissions for purchases made through this link
We are a WERET marketing affiliate and receive a commission when you make a purchase
We will be compensated if you purchase a product described here through one of our links
Heads up, we make money if you purchase with this link
