Es brennt im Hafen!

Glück gehabt! Genau vis-à-vis unseres Schulsteges sind heute Nacht alle Boote abgebrannt. Es tut uns für alle betroffenen Bootsbesitzer sehr leid, sind aber glücklich das keine Menschen dabei verletzt wurden. Für die Natur ist so ein Grossbrand natürlich eine Katastrophe. Zum Teil liegen jetzt abgebrannte Boote oder deren Wracks und Teile im Hafen-Becken. Feuerwehr, Taucher und Polizei sind fleissig mit den Räumungsarbeiten beschäftigt. Wir hoffen, dass wir den geplanten Segel Intensiv-Kurs ab diesem Freitag ganz «normal» durchführen können und melden uns, sobald wir mehr Infos haben.

Grundsätzlich sind es 3 Bereiche auf die du dich vor deinem Segelkurs vorbereiten kannst. Der eine Bereich ist die Theorie zu den Praktischen Lektionen bzw. zum eigentlichen Praktischen Segeln. Die zwei anderen, deine persönliche Ausrüstung und das Kurs-Programm.

Sehr guter Knoten, um zwei ungleich dicke Seile/Trossen miteinander vernünftig zu verbinden. Ist ein Knoten, der sich unter Last festzurrt. Ideal um z.Bsp. abgeschleppt zu werden oder einfach zwei ungleich dicke Seile - die danach unter Last stehen - vernünftig untereinander zu verbinden.

Echten Seglern ist es egal wie das Wetter ist. Relevanter ist, ob es genügend Wind hat. Dies habe schon einige Lagoo-Schüler bewiesen, die jetzt in den vergangenen Wochen zum Teil unter eisigen Bedingungen gesegelt sind. Hut ab, ob der Sportlichkeit! Wurden belohnt. Zweimal die 11 kt. Marke geknackt! :-)

Ab sofort fährt das Schulboot von Lagoo nur noch leise und elektrisch unter Motor. Gestern konnten wir den brandneu gelieferten kraftvollen Motor von ePropulsion in Betrieb nehmen. Die Begeisterung ist bei den Schülern und Instruktoren gross.
