John Hensberger

John began his career developing technology applications and has advanced into increasing roles and responsibilities. His experiences have allowed him to develop a practical methodology for using technology to solve day-to-day challenges that many organizations face today. John has taken on challenges such as revamping internal technology footprints, developing technology services, helping companies achieve regulatory compliance, and assisted in due diligence processes.
John was also part of a company that experienced a cybersecurity breach. That experience has fueled his passion for assisting other companies with their cybersecurity needs to mitigate their risk.
John was recognized as the Pittsburgh CIO of the Year, 2014, SMB category. He holds a BS in Computer Science from St. Vincent College.
Michael Valentine
Compliance and Security Analyst
Michael is well experienced as a support specialist with a history of working in the information technology and services industry. His skill set includes technical support, communication, Autotask, Active Directory, and Network Security.
At Black Bottle IT, Michael supports the compliance and cybersecurity service group to achieve business objectives, coordinate design and validation, and support new system installations. He is ensuring that all compliance security standards are met for his clients.
He is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Information Technology.
Matt Kerr
IT Support Specialist
Matt's early career has demonstrated his talent in the Managed IT Solutions and network security industry -- skilled in Troubleshooting, Computer Repair, Computer Information Systems, HTML, and Risk Management.
Matt is a strong operation's professional. He supports current customers' systems keeping them updated and running smoothly. Matt is tasked with upgrading systems and its components when the need arises. He conducts research and provides cost analysis data when upgrading or purchasing new hardware, software or equipment for customers.
He studied an Information Technology focused in Cybersecurity – Security and Governance from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Marc Malloy
Compliance Account Manager
As the Lead of Compliance Account Management at Black Bottle IT, Marc's days are spent understanding the greatest shortcomings for organizations-- the lack of cybersecurity protocol and tools. He is driven to execute the vision of Black Bottle IT to become a leader in the field of Cybersecurity Compliance. Working with business owners and IT teams for Pittsburgh area business and nonprofit organizations-- including schools, his focus is identifying the needs, recommending the best security solutions that will reduce security breaches, and implementing best practices for our clients with our technical team.
Some of his most recent certifications include AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Endpoint Security & Multi-factor Authentication with WatchGuard.
Austin Anglum
IT Support Technician
Austin's early career has demonstrated his talent to solve real-world client problems. Austin jumps in to diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware and software components to ensure the smooth running of computer systems.
He studied an Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Garrett Miller
DevOps Engineer
Garrett began his career in the gaming industry as a Database Administrator and App Developer. He managed security, performance, and reliability for 100’s of databases and applications. He has developed database, BI, and reporting solutions for large and small organizations with every version of Microsoft platform since 2000. In most recent years he has advanced his career into application and web development.
Being apart of a large corporation has provided him with extensive knowledge and experience in database and application security. During his tenure there, he was part of a team that went through rigorous yearly audits to ensure proper protocols and security measures were taken.
At Black Bottle IT, Garrett takes great pride in ensuring DevOps standards meet readability, reliability, and performance.
Garrett is a graduate of Thiel College with a BS in Computer Science and an AS in Web Design.
