Network Engineer 

Black Bottle IT, is hiring Network Engineers to work across industries to assist the internal team with business communications, information storage, and security. 

Network Engineers use a variety of skills to provide the most comprehensive support to organizations, which may include:


Network Engineer skills and qualifications


  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks including Windows, AWS, Azure. 
  • In-depth understanding and  practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and printers
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently
  • Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-FI and security infrastructure
  • Time management 
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation
  • Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to clients who may not have a technical background

 

Network Engineer education and training requirements


Network Engineers should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field. Depending on the organization’s specific network configurations, Network Engineers may also be required to have or obtain additional certifications. CompTIA Network+, Certificates for AWS 

Minimum 5 Years Experience.

IT Support Specialists 

Black Bottle IT, is hiring IT Support Specialists to work across industries to assist the internal team. They should have thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems. The ideal candidate will also have great troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.


The goal is to build and maintain updated and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the role of technology on business sustainability.


IT Support Specialists skills and qualifications


  • Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
  • Checking computer hardware (HDD, mice, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
  • Installing and configuring appropriate software and functions according to specifications
  • Support and Troubleshoot end user issues submitted to Help Desk
  • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
  • Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
  • Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
  • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
  • Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders
  • All other general support of end users with computer hardware and software


IT Support Specialists education and training requirements


  • Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication ability
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles


IT Support Specialists should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.

Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT)


Minimum 1- 3 Years Experience.
