PAWSITIVITY SERVICE DOGS

An award-winning 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

PAWSITIVITY SERVICE DOGS

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2012, Pawsitivity Service Dogs earned a 501(c)(3) charity designation in 2014, and is duly registered in the state of Minnesota. Pawsitivity receives no federal or state funding. Instead, the organization relies on the diversity of individual contributions, thus giving the organization an admirable degree of autonomy and low risk of over-reliance. Pawsitivity publishes its financials as public information, all in accordance with GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles).

"Highest rating."

For the second year in a row, Minnesota's Charities Review Council  has certified that Pawsitivity has achieved the highest rating ("Meets Standards for Public Disclosure, Governance, Financial Activity, and Fundraising").
Pawsitivity’s latest Annual Report gives detailed financials such as SOP, SOA, and SFE. We proudly present the following as a summary of the key elements:

81%

81% of funds go to programs. Once again, over 4/5ths of Pawsitivity’s funds went directly to our programs, which Minnesota's Charity Review Council considers the top standard.

0%

Pawsitivity consistently keeps a remarkable 0% Debt Ratio (zero liabilities and no interest expenses), which contributes to a high Viability Ratio. In other words, the nonprofit’s finances have a great deal of resiliency.

29.6%

Pawsitivity has a 29.6% Operating Reserve, which is over three months of liquid unreserved net assets (LUNA). This high Primary Reserve Ratio confirms that the organization’s resources are flexible enough to support its mission.

We walk the walk.

Pawsitivity has consistently earned the highest grades given out for accountability and transparency (see awards and financials below).

100% goes to the dogs.
